Is it normal to have no symptoms at this stage. I guess everyone's different but I've never been pregnant before and I don't want to ask anyone I know because we aren't telling people yet.

Other than the positive test I wouldn't know I was pregnant at all I guess maybe it's a blessing I don't know

I would be grateful for any advice

Thank you

My first 'symptom' was throwing up at 6 + 3. This is despite taking quite a lot of progesterone (ivf pregnancy).

Totally normal.

biscuit13 · 22/05/2020 12:18

I was the same, felt completely normal and didnt start getting symptoms until about 6 weeks and I only felt queasy every now and then, thought I was lucky, and then had full on nausea day and night from 7 weeks.
Congrats! And enjoy feeling well before it kicks in 😂

This time I felt absolutely fine until about 7 weeks and then started throwing up which then stopped at about 10 weeks and I've been back to feeling fine. Completely different to my first pregnancy when I started feeling like death warmed up at 5 weeks and it didn't lift until about week 18.

bluebell94 · 22/05/2020 12:51

Absolutely normal. I didn't feel any different until I became more tired and short of breath when doing things at about 6/7 weeks and started getting a few headaches. No other symptoms though for me and all stayed relatively mild :)

skinnyhotchoc · 22/05/2020 12:53

I was fine until the end of 6 weeks. Then... well it was not pretty. Just starting to feel human at 12 weeks but still having the odd bad day. With my dd though I didn't have any symptoms really. Enjoy it

stormy11 · 22/05/2020 12:53

Readytobeamum13 · 22/05/2020 12:55

I'm 10+5 & haven't had any sickness or strong systems. Just tender boobs, the odd headache & peeing more at night! You might be lucky and have no sickness or horrid symptoms :)

MissHoney85 · 22/05/2020 17:32

I've just reached 6 weeks and desperate to feel sick or exhausted or have sore boobs! I have a few symptoms but not the 'classics' - my heart rate is faster and as a result I get out of breath quite easily, my skin is super greasy, I'm thirsty all the time. I guess everyone reacts differently!

Bingaling30 · 22/05/2020 17:47

Completely normal, don't worry! I never had any symptoms at all with DS, no sickness or anything.

Scotinportugal · 22/05/2020 17:50

Hey readytobeamum
First of all congrats on your pregnancy! No symptoms at 5 weeks sounds totally normal, I didn't start having any until 6+4 ish weeks and then had horrendous sickness which is just getting better now at 12 weeks. So enjoy it, it'll come soon!
