Uppababy pram colors question

We are buying a pram by Uppababy for our first arriving in September after A LOT of research 😄

We had originally ordered a Vista but might go for the Cruz now as we're not sure if we will actually need a double pram in the endZ

My question though is about colors, we are really trying to decide between the Sierra or Gregory, unfortunately we live abroad and the Uppababy reseller here only have other colors, so we haven't seen these in person.

Initially had my heart set on a Gregory but saw a YouTube video of the Sierra which is a gorgeous fabric! I'm also worried Gregory looks "too blue" in real life and not neutral enough?

Any ladies here seen any of these colors in person and what did you think? We like the brown leather handle bar and bumper bar that comes with the Gregory, do you know if we can customize the Sierra with the he brown bars (it comes with black?).

I have the Gregory! It's a blueish grey. What do you mean by neutral? in case you have a boy in the future? I am going to have a girl and I thought Gregory was a nice colour! Sienna is nice too, but thought it would get dirty easier.

@Peridotty thanks for your reply 😄 we are having a boy and I didn't want to get something too blue if it makes sense just because he's a boy! Sounds great you got it for your daughter. I can't tell from pics if it's quite blue in real life or more greyish! So you've also seen Sierra in person? Both look so nice and difficult for me to decide haha. We live in the Middle East so don't have to worry about rain and snow etc to make the lighter color more dirty 🤔

We had Sierra. All the other colours were heritage colours at the time and not my style. I also had a thing about bright/ light colours being more visible. Honestly it just got so grubby so quickly and despite us using a steamer on it never really looked clean. We bit the bullet after 18 months and bought the black. Still looks smart now a year later

No I havent see the Sierra in person. But if that's the one you're leaning towards, go for it!

@hawai40 your comment is very helpful 😄 do you mind telling me how it gets so dirty? As it doesn't look white b more grey (lots of colors woven into the material). Also it's on top of the pram and not the bits the child can usually touch? Is it from when you fold it down in a car boot for instance?

A thousand different ways. Admittedly my bassinet was pretty clean, but when you get into the toddler seats there are a million ways: sticky fingers pulling on the hood, dirty feet kicking the seat in front, a dirty mark from a bus or because a wheel was muddy when you packed it into the boot, a drink spill when you unexpectedly hit a pothole and just general grubiness because I was out and about in it for at least a couple of hours a day.
