Growth scan today

After a few episodes of reduced movements Iv been sent for a growth scan today to check baby out.
I'm really scared about going due to covid.
Anyone been recently & how safe is it?
I'm paranoid after hearing it lives in the air for 3 hours 😫

I've been for multiple scans over the last couple of months, I'm always anxious and am continually using hand gel and keeping 2 meters from everyone.

The midwives and other staff all wear masks and gloves. Apart from not having DH there, it's not much different, although I am aware of everyone around me.

I went for my 12 week scan just before the lockdown (early March) and I had my 20 week scan at the beginning of May. It was absolutely fine both times. Social distancing and PPE worn by all staff. Plenty of hand gel available for all.

OP who's told you the virus is airborn???? First I've heard of it!
It's transmitted through bodily fluids and everything I've read on Covid-19 from WHO doesn't say it lives in the air for 3 hours?
Anyway, I went for my 20 week scan last week and it's totally fine. PPE worn by all staff and they made me wear a mask as well.
If anything it's probably safer now than it was before! 😂
