SMP and maternity allowance

Struggling to find a clear answer online so hoping for some advice.

I have two jobs
One I am entitled to SMP plus their enhanced maternity scheme
The other I'm not

Can I claim maternity allowance for the 2nd job or do they take in to account my total income from both jobs?

It's one or the other, you can't get both...

The only reason I'm unsure is because if I earned a little more I would get two lots of SMP,

So I wasn't sure if they would treat them separately in this case too

I would ring the DWP and check. You can get SMP twice if you work two jobs so it makes sense that you could get SMP and MA.

Thanks for the link, Managed to work through the eligibility checker, I must have filled it out wrong first time because it didn't give me a clear answer when I tired earlier

We weren't expecting anything from the 2nd job and planned my maternity pay and leave etc assuming I would only be getting anything from my main job
