I’m struggling to find Plus Size maternity In a style I like. I don’t want skinny jeans or tight leggings and I really don’t want over the bump style.

I just want some bottoms which are under the bump, which is loose, cool and comfortable to wear out on hot days like today. I’m finding very little 😭

Any ideas?!

www.next.co.uk/g8729s4/264027#264027. These go to a size 20 if that's any good?

Dorothy Perkins have a few styles of under bump non skinnies/leggings. I got a few nice loose fit trousers from New Look, but they were over bump ones

I know that Yours do some plus size maternity bits. To be honest under the bump is much harder to find across the board. You might be better off buying some you like from a standard range and asking a seamstress to put in some stretchy panels at the sides.

I've been having the same trouble. All I wanted was a pair of loose comfortable lounge trousers but couldn't find anything at all. I ended up buying a jersey jumpsuit 3 sizes bigger than I would normally wear from the regular range from Yours. (I'm wearing it right now, it so comfy!)

There is a serious lack of good options for plus size people, particularly those larger than a size 20/22. Everything seems to be tight like skinny jeans or leggings, definitely not what I want when I'm feeling extra warm on a hot summer day!

Thank you! I’ve managed to get a couple of pairs of under bump shorts from Dorothy Perkins. I’ll keep hunting for the right style of jeans.

I am opting for leggings and a skirt with elastic ated waist. I have trousers from George. Think called wonderfit which sort if look like Jean's but really stretchy but with a normal waistband and button. I lost weight so wearing the size I used to wear. Got to admit they are fitted round your legs though. Pretty comfy but being at home working, jammies are best!!

Ha, yes. I was doing very well being at home in my elasticated waisted joggers! It was just the heatwave which made me realise that solution wasn’t going to work over the next few months. I’ve ordered some stretchy chub rub shorts so I can go on walks on hot days in maternity dresses without getting uncomfortable.
