Having a panic!! What sunscreen is safe for pregnancy?? I've read there are harmful ingredients in most???

Surely you can use any good quality sun cream? Pregnant with my 3rd and never given it’s second thought.

Not something I have ever thought about and I have probably used a lot of suncream in pregnancy, especially putting it on my kids. Surely it’s better to wear it and protect yourself from the sun than not, especially as your skin can be more sensitive to the sun.

Out of pure curiosity I've just checked the SPF we have at home and it doesn't state anywhere that it's not to be used on pregnant women.
I've never heard of certain brands of SPF not being allowed to be used on pregnant women, so if it's true, it's new to me!

You need to look for mineral suncreams

Yeah when I googled there are certain ingredients to avoid.. also it even shows some in baby sunscreen so how is this right 🤯

What happens when pregnant women put suncream on?

I am and have always put on whatever we have in the house- usually a boots own brand! Shouldn’t spend too much time in the sun is probably a bigger concern than the sunscreen
