@hopefulmummie if the blood is only when you wipe and it's gone after three wipes I wouldn't worry too much. I know it's scary but the nurse said to me to keep an eye on the blood loss getting heavier and increasing pains.

Hopefulmummie · 30/05/2020 12:35

@jellybean252 thank you. I know I'm asking so many questions but I can't help but worry as this is my first pregnancy and I don't know what's normal or not

Carabu1 · 30/05/2020 13:13

@MayBug2020 I absolutely love hot weather, so for me this is a dream! I have been trying not to sit in direct sun for too long though, and doing all my exercise early in the morning.

I’m feeling worried again the last few days though...my exhaustion has gone and I just feel really good - and worried this is a bad omen. Ugh, feel like the 12 week scan is 3 year’s away rather than 3 weeks....!

Jellybean252 · 30/05/2020 13:49

@Hopefulmummie
Don't worry I'm in the exact same boat! It's even more difficult if you haven't told anyone yet because you literally can't ask anyone any questions!

This forum is really good everyone is very helpful and willing to answer as many questions as we might have!

Hopefulmummie · 30/05/2020 13:57

@jellybean252 I know it really is a big support I couldn't do without it especially as you said theres no one else to ask yet

BabyDust13 · 30/05/2020 14:45

I'm feeling so green today 🤢🤢🤢

BriarNorth · 30/05/2020 14:45

I’m 8 weeks tomorrow too, @Carabu1
Have you tried calling them? I had to chase mine up!

MayBug2020 · 30/05/2020 14:49

@Carabu1 I am the same with the weather but I am just getting so hot and having to sit in the shade a bit more.

So I think I am going to tell my parents this evening - it’s getting hard to hide why I am not doing things but worried I am going to jinx things...anyone got any advice? Xx

Carabu1 · 30/05/2020 14:54

@BriarNorth - I’m 9+2 today - I finally have a date (after some hassling!) so am literally counting down the hours til then...

@maybug2020 - it’s hard isn’t it? My in laws want to come over and I’ve been using protecting them as my excuse...! Tbh I don’t really care if they think I’m being weird, as when we can come clean in a few weeks I’m sure they’ll see then why I’ve really been so cautious. Not drinking with friends is harder, but similarly I’m just winging it. I really don’t want to jinx it. Obviously that’s ridiculous though - I’m just been superstitious!!

BriarNorth · 30/05/2020 14:56

Oh sorry, @carabu1 ! I’ve only just joined mumsnet, I’m not totally up to speed with the boards yet!! Pleased you got sorted, hope it all goes well!

BabyG123 · 30/05/2020 16:49

@Hopefulmummie I have no idea 🤪 sorry!!!

Just had my booking in over the phone.
Because of reduced movements in my pregnancy with my son leading to a c section I have to have extra scans 👏🏼😬

Ladies, I'm currently starting to get period like pain and the bleeding has gotten slightly heavier. I'm so scared what do you think I should do?

Baba11 · 30/05/2020 17:06

@Jellybean252 sorry to hear than hunni. Hopefully it will pass. Just rest and maybe ring epu?

Hopefulmummie · 30/05/2020 17:16

@jellybean252 sorry to hear. I would maybe contact midwife just to be on the safe side and will hopefully ease your worries x

@Jellybean252 oh hun :( yea like girls said, try to rest.. And obviously easier said than done but try to relax or distract your mind, being stressed out won't help with the pain either... Ahh I really wish the doc could do or say something to reassure you.. Sending you a hug! X

BabyG123 · 30/05/2020 17:46

@Jellybean252 I'd defo call 111 and explain. They may not scan you as it's the weekend so it may be a wait, defo Worth mentioning. Hope you're ok xx

@Jellybean252 Aw I’m so sorry to hear you’re still suffering. I would call your nurse or midwife if you’re worried, though to the best of my knowledge they usually like to leave a week between scans so they can see a change. I would push for having a second scan much sooner than they had told you originally, if you can at all.

Brodijen · 30/05/2020 18:22

@Jellybean252 We’re all thinking of you and here for you xx

Mumof4andahalf · 30/05/2020 18:41

@Jellybean252 I'm so sorry to hear this, definitely give 111 a call if the pain gets worse or the bleeding gets very heavy. I was told if you're soaking a pad within an hour you need to go in x

Jellybean252 · 30/05/2020 19:38

Thankyou ladies,
I've had to come into hospital again the pain was INTENSE then something bizarre happened. I had to give a urine sample and I was bleeding a lot and the pain was giving me the sweats. Then a lump came out. No other way I can describe it, just a lump came out it wasn't a clot but something else. And the pain immediately reduced and now I'm sat in A and E with minimal pain.
I don't know if I've literally just had a miscarriage so confusing. Was that the embryo? I'm so shocked and surprised at what's happened. Hopefully the consultant at EPU can explain what it was. I spoke to him before I came in, he said they will most likely do an examination on my cervix.

I can't believe the pain has gone down this much so quickly.

MayBug2020 · 30/05/2020 19:43

@Jellybean252 sorry to hear what you are going through. I have my fingers crossed for you and sending all the positive vibes xx

lilypad88 · 30/05/2020 19:48

@Jellybean252 oh sounds really stressful huni... keep up updated, I hope you're okay :( 🙏🏻💛

BabyG123 · 30/05/2020 20:01

@Jellybean252 I hope you're ok. I'm glad the pain has eased. Keep us updated xx
