@PinkBlossom22 I use Ovia pregnancy.
I have also heard Emma diary is good
Congrats

Carabu1 · 28/05/2020 12:34

@BabyG123 - last few days I feel the size of a house! I'm only 9 weeks, and quite slight, so I am assuming its a combination of bloat and body laying down a bit of fat (if the baby is only about strawberry size I don't think it can be a bump, surely?! Unless you're much further on - and I believe people do show earlier if they've had one before...but probs not before 12 weeks even so?).

PinkBlossom22 · 28/05/2020 12:39

@BabyG123 @Baba11 thank you ladies. I will give them a go. hope you're both doing ok and not feeling too sick and tired today like me!

Lollipop93 · 28/05/2020 13:13

This constant tiredness and nausea and no appetite whatsoever is really hard :( especially both me and husband trying to work from home as well as look after 18month old. I feel so bad for my toddler but I just have nothing left to give to the days. I would love if i at least didn’t feel sick :( do u think there is any point asking the doctor if there is anything I can take? In a way I wish we weren’t in lockdown so that my mum could help with the little one :(

MissHoney85 · 28/05/2020 13:28

@Lollipop93 that must be really tough to juggle all that alongside feeling sick. I'm sure the doctor might be able to suggest some medication.

I'm knackered, I woke up at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep at all. I've had this kind of insomnia few times recently, not sure if it's a pregnancy thing or just anxiety. I was stressing myself out because my skin wasn't as greasy as it has been recently so I was worrying myself about symptoms disappearing. 😂 Such stupid stuff we find ourselves worrying about, especially in the middle of the night! My boobs are a bit more sore today, so hopefully I've just swapped greasy skin for sore boobs... Cannot wait for the scan on Saturday to put my mind at rest one way or another.

Lollipop93 · 28/05/2020 13:38

@MissHoney85 it’s so hard :( aww everything always seems worse during the middle of the night! I think it’s normal for symptoms to come and go. Sore boobs are so annoying too! I’m such a moan today haha! So exciting about your scan on Saturday! I am jel. I probs will have to wait till 12 weeks.

Baba11 · 28/05/2020 13:42

@Carabu1 I hear that. I feel huge I'm 8 weeks on Sunday. I am very petite anyway and is so noticeable. So glad that we are in lock down so I can hide away

@Lollipop93 Sorry to hear your not feeling good. I did read on here (I think) that you can buy some bands to help nausea. That might be worth looking into. Failing that ginger is also meant to be good.

DinkyMamma90 · 28/05/2020 14:13

Any of you lovely ladies use the Flo app? I was a complete spoon and thought I was a week further along than I was!

The app says week 7 day 3, but the NHS calculator says I am 6 weeks. I realise I am in 3 days into my 7th week... Grin

Anyway Due 19th Jan yey

BabyG123 · 28/05/2020 14:15

@Carabu1 8+2 here. But I think less with my long cycles 🤪

TerribleImagination · 28/05/2020 14:46

Has anyone used those travel sickness bands for morning sickness? Or 24/7 sickness 😂 I’ve just ordered some in the hope of possibly having some nausea free time in my day, but I may be clutching at straws.... Reviews seem pretty mixed - they work for some and not for others 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m not actually being sick, but the constant nausea is pretty grim 🤢

Hopefully a good sign though! 🤞🏻

FS12 · 28/05/2020 15:01

Hi ladies, I'm 7+4 weeks with my first baby, due 10th January.
Am I okay to join the fb group? :)

Lollipop93 · 28/05/2020 15:06

@Baba11 oh thank you, I have just ordered. Willing to try anything.

Is anyone else worried about how much they r eating? I honestly can’t stomach much at all. So far today I’ve only managed one bit of toast a few bites of banana, a bread stick and a couple of ready salted pringles. I don’t know how long this is ok to be not eating for

Hopingtomeetmymiracle · 28/05/2020 15:43

Hi all,

I hope you are all well? I am 5 weeks 4 days today and had a very tiny amount of spotting last night - I completely freaked out at the thought that this is over and have now booked an early 6 week scan for Sunday. Has anyone else had spotting and found it to be ok and has anybody been able to see anything on a 6 week scan?

Many thanks

MayBug2020 · 28/05/2020 16:17

@Ivoryjane sorry to hear what you have been through with your early scan. There is a possibility my dates were wrong as I had only just come off the pill and had one period so I was only going by an app that used the standard 28 cycle dates to show when my period would have been due and the first period is called a withdrawal bleed. When I went to the private clinic she did say they ignore period dates if you have had less than 3 since coming off the pill, which I was not aware of. I have my fingers crossed that it is done to wrong dates and at the scan tomorrow we can see some progress. Trying to stay positive. I still have the off sicky feeling, tired and sore breasts so hoping they are all good signs too xx

Carabu1 · 28/05/2020 16:38

@hopingtomeetmymiracle - don't panic! I had slight brown spotting at 6 weeks, had a total meltdown, and went to the epu for a scan. It was all totally fine; with hindsight, I think I overreacted at bit (its my first...), but better to be sure I guess. Couldn't see much tbh but there was a heartbeat and they could see it was in the right place, so not ectopic etc.

Carabu1 · 28/05/2020 16:39

(Also not sure if the scan is private, but they had to do internal to see anything at all, so if it is private make sure it's somewhere that can do that or it may stress you out more if they scan externally and can't see much!)

MayBug2020 · 28/05/2020 16:47

@Lollipop93 I was a little worried last week as I wasn’t eating much and worried if the baby is getting what it needs. Apparently the baby get everything for you so the fact you are not eating means you won’t get much. I have actually forced myself to eat and it has helped with the sickness as I believe it’s worse with an empty stomach. Xx

lilypad88 · 28/05/2020 16:48

I'm having a lot of pulling sensation/cramping for the last couple of days, are any of you experiencing this as well? It's not painful but just wondering if it's normal this early in pregnancy..

Sunshinedahlia · 28/05/2020 17:20

@DinkyMamma90 I‘m using the Flo app, you can switch between current/completed weeks under settings. Then it will match the NHS date!

Sunshinedahlia · 28/05/2020 17:22

@lilypad88 wow that scan‘s really soon! How exciting! Mine isn‘t until June 19th!

Baba11 · 28/05/2020 18:22

@Jellybean252 how you feeling today chick? Bleeding any better?

BabyG123 · 28/05/2020 18:23

Any fellow constipated people- linseeds help and help babies brain development too!

Ivoryjane · 28/05/2020 18:27

@MayBug2020 thank you. Well fingers crossed for us both tomo. It's good that you are feeling some symptoms and if it's just a matter of dates then that will be good. I have read that about the withdrawal bleed so keep positive and good luck for tomo. xx
My app is at 10.10 and I am meant to be online for a staff meeting at 10am. Havent come up with an excuse yet as to why I wont be there. Lockdown making it difficult to lie?! Wink

@BabyG123 I've been so constipated ! I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and have only been twice. My stomach is huge and it's keeping me up. What are linseeds?? I'm willing to try anything at this point. I'm on lactulose from GP but it's not doing anything x
