Sitting too long causes gas buildup?

I'm 12+2 and recently noticed that sitting in front of PC for more than 30 minutes causes gas pains. I'm only relieved after walking around and passing some...wind. Blush

It doesn't happen when I'm standing or lying down. Does anyone else have this issue?

I have been a gas monster since my early weeks! 😝😝
Getting up and moving round does help but I'm 21 weeks now and well...... 🙈 💨 💨 and in my case, it doesn't get any better! In fact mine is worse!
My poor DH! Tbh I'm so grateful he finds it hilarious!
Sorry OP but I think you may have to accept the possibility of being stuck with it for your pregnancy! 😭

oouch...I will need to remind myself to get up and move around every 30 mis then...not to blow the house Grin

😂😂😂 just keep moving about when you can OP!
I just find absolutely hilarious now!
My DH thinks it's given him a free pass to join me in the flatulence category! Windows have been open for days! 😂😂😂😂

Hey, our pregnancy does not give our SO a free pass! We're sensitive to smells! Angry

I am 12 weeks today and I find I get this if I wear trousers / anything with a tight waistband. When wearing a looser / more elasticated waistband it doesn't seem to be as bad for me. Not sure if that helps?? It's definitely my silver lining of lockdown and working from home as I can wear what I want haha!

@RunnerGirl123 hmmm that sounds like the culprit. I don't have much of a bump but I do wear tights every day. I'll try switching to a looser one and see if that helps :)

Me neither but the bloating does increase as the day goes on which doesn't help. It took me a few days to realise that's what it was, so I've had to retire my face pair of jeans as they were just so uncomfortable!
