Should I be expecting a miscarriage?

First test is 14dpo, second is today 16dpo. Does anyone have any experience of the test becoming fainter? Should I prepare for the worst? Can anyone help?

Did you test at the same time of the day?
Your rest is nearly always stronger in the morning than later on in the day, as tour urine becomes more diluted the more you drink throughout the day.
If you're not bleeding and not in any pain then id say so far so good! Congratulations ❤️❤️

Urine not rest! Bloody phone! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@lockdownpregnancy the first test was taken in the afternoon, the fainter test was taken this morning using fmu. That’s why I’m so worried, I was expecting the line to be much darker! Thank you for replying x

I read somewhere that later in the pregnancy the hormone could become too high for the test to read so may give a fainter line, not sure where I read that though. But could make sense for the morning one to almost saturate it.

Are you having any other symptoms?

Mine were a bit strange to be fair, I'm now 21 weeks, so don't worry too much at the moment.
As I said before if you're not bleeding then you should be ok.
Don't keep taking tests as you'll tip yourself over the edge! We've all been there! 😬
Fingers crossed all is well 🤞

Yes I’ve read that too but I think I’m too early for that to be the case. Symptoms are very sore boobs, metallic taste and I have had quite bad cramps but no bleeding yet. Praying everything will be ok after a miscarriage last year, it’s bloody hard isn’t it!

Awwww @blossomberry if you've had a previous miscarriage then it's understandable you're worried!
Fingers crossed this time is meant to be for you! 🥰🥰🥰

Same thing happened to me! Tested a week after faint positive result, only to get an almost nonexistent line. Ultrasound at 6 weeks confirmed my pregnancy & right now I'm at 12+1 going strong.

Try not to worry, they are both positive and nothing good can come of being stressed and worried. Mine were all over the place at the beginning. ThanksCake

@carlablack oh wow that gives me a tiny bit of hope, I’ve stupidly read hundreds of threats where people say it’s bad news! So glad your pregnancy is going well so far.
