Baby Monitor Recommendations

I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. However, my youngest is 11 so it's been quite a while! There is just so much more technology when it comes to monitors now, I don't even know where to start.

To give you a rough idea of what I'm looking for - last time I had an Angelcare monitor with the motion pad. The pad was a nightmare so not fussy for one this time round. Not sure if I should get one with a camera, that wasn't even a thing when I had my youngest. So just looking for some recommendations please Smile

We have the most basic Motorola camera one for dd. We are still using it (she 3) because she sleeps on another floor to us.
We have had no problems and will probably but similar for dc2. We paid about £30 for it in the Morrison's baby event.
When she was littler, I liked that I could see whether she was genuinely upset and crying or just shouting. It also made me less anxious because I could still see her when we put her into her own room initially.

Friends have one that has lulabies, thermometer and talk back on it but paid well over £100 for it. For us the cost wouldn't be worth what we would get out of it. I suppose it depends on what you want from it.

Motorola audio only, plugs into mains. About £15 in Argos. We've gone through 4 or 5 but it because we kept leaving them behind in places and one got smashed on a tile floor.

Works perfectly well and I'm delighted to have one I can afford to replace!
