Hi, I hope you are ok! It depends what ones you are taking. As with any medication I would speak to your GP before considering :)

Hope you’re ok - assume you’ve talked with your doctor about how you’re feeling? Rule of thumb with antidepressants is that the benefits of them outweigh any small risks, because untreated depression is more likely to cause harm (either to you or baby) than the medication itself. There are loooooads of women on antidepressants in pregnancy - if you need them for your own health, then you should take them.

Hi just wanted to reassure you about taking antidepressants during pregnancy. I spoke to the perinatal mental health team and they advised Sertraline is safest in pregnancy. As someone above said usually the benefits of taking it, if you need it, outweigh the risks.

The perinatal team directed me to a website called bumps www.medicinesinpregnancy.org/Medicine--pregnancy/ and told me only to use this when making decisions about medication in pregnancy but you’ll see the possible side effects here.

I would recommend having a chat with your GP.
