Hello, so I'm seeing if i can get some advice. Me and my partner are trying to conceive and have been for 2 months now. It's been past my ovulation date and since, I've been having cramps like period cramps and my lower back aches, everything is frustrating me. Is it implantation?.. i have read that you can bleed but i haven't. I'm not due on for 2 weeks. What was all your symptoms of implantation?.

Did you mean to post that reply on this thread, @disorganisedsecretsquirrel ?

Did you mean to be so rude @disorganisedsecretsquirrel ?

@Shewolf90 good luck for your journey :) on my first pregnancy I had a light spotting during implantation (I had after mc), on my second one I had no symptoms at all, just one week before period was supposed to arrive my breast grow so much and were really painful.
I think it depends from women to women and pregnancy to pregnancy

bee222 · 17/05/2020 23:54

I didn’t really have any symptoms of implantation. The only clue I had was that I was feeling quite dizzy. I did have some period like cramps, but they were not until I was around 5-6 weeks. I didn’t have any bleeding. I think it really does vary from person to person.

I only noticed symptoms during my last pregnancy. Had 3 previous losses and never had any symptoms with them not even anything that would've made me think oh maybe I'm pregnant. My 4th Pregnancy though (also a loss) even before I took the test I was massively fatigued to the point I would get home from work on at night time and just cry because I couldn't find the energy to get into the shower. My boobs hurt like mad constantly to the point it made me feel sick. I'd end up having to rest my cup of tea or coffee against them just to get some release and being cold made it even worse. I completely went of chocolate. I'm addicted to the stuff and eating anything dairy I could taste the milk inside it. Like really taste the milk inside it and that horrid aftertaste you get. I also felt queasy and had pains in my lower back and tummy when I walked. Didn't actually test though until my period was a week late. Now though those symptoms just seem to be typical period symptoms for me. Ironically my most recent period because I haven't seen my OH for 3 months and knew there was no way I could be pregnant my boobs didn't hurt at all before or during it

I had pains in one side a few times a day that lasted seconds each time and my chest suddenly became sore, and breasts suddenly grew literally overnight

George441 · 18/05/2020 04:35

@Shewolf90, how old are you?

RainbowSlide · 18/05/2020 04:36

I had cramps for a day or so during implantation. Good luck on your ttc journey.

And for what it's worth i agree with disorganisedsecretsquirrel - get yourself legally protected before having babies.

walkingchuckydoll · 18/05/2020 04:38

The times I was pregnsnt I had no symptoms. Plenty of symptoms when I wasn't so I don't believe in synptom spotting anymore.

Shewolf90 · 18/05/2020 08:19

@disorganisedsecretsquirrel i appreciate your concern regarding making sure I'm secure etc. I can be most certain my other half wont leave me anytime soon. He has a son who lives with us and who I've helped raise with him. If anything, he's worried I'll up and leave after the baby is born but thats not going to happen.

I've just been having basically what feels like a period but no blood. I have cramps, my lower back hurts, I'm moody and gassy. My period isn't due for another 2 weeks.

If your period is due in two weeks, these are more likely symptoms of ovulation. Implantation happens 7-12 days after ovulation, so a week- 2 days before your af would have arrived...

wannabebump · 18/05/2020 09:27

Everyone's pregnancy symptoms are different OP, also 2 months is a really short time as well. Up to a year is normal, after that see a GP. Took us 17 months...

bee222 · 18/05/2020 09:27

Disorganised squirrel waits around in forums and jumps on anyone that uses the word partner instead of husband, Just ignore it. She does it a lot and even starts threads about it where she suggests being married is a middle class thing and uses outdated phrases like “unmarried mothers”

Shewolf90 · 18/05/2020 10:23

@bee22 thanks, i did think it was rather odd as it's not really relevant to what I was asking! Hmm i say partner as i don't like saying "boyfriend" makes me feel like a kid haha!

Hmm symptoms of implantation? Pain one side of my stomach was one for me and cramps. We started trying in February but with ovulation dates, sperm staying alive, conception and implantation it took a month. I could feel it...because I started peeing a lot, heartburn etc...took a test and it was always negative...it was only after I got my period that I took a test and it was positive. Sadly miscarried in April. I'm like you waiting 2 weeks for my period... having the same cramps and backaches. Fingers crossed. Do you use an app? You could track your ovulation etc and have sex every few days if you really want to get pregnant sooner...sometimes it just depends on our bodies....good luck x

Shewolf90 · 18/05/2020 11:33

faithfulbird i do use an app but i also read that they aren't always accurate as well. I honestly feel like i'm on my period but i know i'm not, not due for 2 weeks and no blood. Tiny hings really annoy me, i get stressed easy. I don't feel like me, ugh..why are our bodies so complicated! Confused haha! . I have cramps, that are very mild, my lower back just aches, i pee a lot anyway as i drink loads of water. Just wish i could know for sure ha!

I never had any symptoms in my tww when I conceived. No spotting or cramping. Enjoy the first few months of ttc, I think the average is more than 6 for it to happen so try not to stress (though I know it's hard!). It took me 8 months twice and the first ended in a mmc so I had to start again. I drove myself insane.

BeMorePacific · 18/05/2020 12:08

@disorganisedsecretsquirrel your comment is actually hilarious. I think it’s on the wrong thread, and also from the wrong decade.

MichelleOR84 · 18/05/2020 16:07

I’ve never had implantation cramps or any early pregnancy symptoms. I’ve been pregnant 3 times and a lack of pms symptoms and a missed period are my first signs .
