How long for vbac

So what's the length of time you need to wait after one pregnancy if you want the second one to be a vbac? Or does it not matter at all? Can't work out how long to wait to give myself the best chance.

A part of me is tempted to go for elective anyway.

You are advised to wait a year between pregnancies if possible to allow your body to recover/iron stores fo build up again etc. Did you have a Caesarian for DC1?

I read 18 months

@crazychemist I did. It wasn't too rushed though despite being decided on the day. Is that a year for a vbac or just general pregnancy?
