Hi guys, I'm a makeup artist and I also create personalised custom shoes , with the pandemic at the minute I'm obviously not doing any makeup, but im super busy eith shoes and I love love love creating customised shoes, it's something that's kept me sane throughout my pregnancy and is a lovely little earner that I can do from home which is perfect for when baby comes. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with working from home or their own business whilst having w newborn , how did you manager your time ? Just need some advice , I'm 27 weeks at the moment ❤️ xx

My husband and I work together and I would say the first Weeks/months are super tough because of the lack of sleep. It makes everything more difficult! I breastfed until 6 months and then life got easier, and when the baby was tiny we kept DC in a cot in our office, or in an electric swinging chair, Then jumperoo, quite happily! And babies sleep loads!

So if you have a creative job where you don’t have to be meeting clients lots or on the phone, you can still get a lot done

Once they start crawling/walking though, it all gets tougher. DC is 3 now and doesn’t nap anymore and we can’t do more than 20 mins of work with them in the office! And even then, only if CBeebies is on!

I miss naps!!

I also run a business from home and I’m 17 weeks pregnant. Currently run my business from spare bedroom with all stock filling most of the room so will have to make other arrangements when baby is old enough for own room. But happy I can work from home with baby as I love my job :)
