Why don't I get this nub theory , my boyfriend wants a surprise and I can't help but get excited 😍😍 I looked at my scan and adamant it's a penis , doesn't matter either way but just too excited !

How far gone are you? I don't think genitals start to develop until at least 14 weeks so don't think it's a penis.
For nub theory, i'd guess girl too (but if it's before 12+5 it can still be rising so time to change)

This was done at 13 weeks and 3 days , I was in the room and swear I saw all boy bits and then what's on the scan photo

I had my dating scan at 13+6 and sure they said genitals developed 14 weeks onwards.
It's normally just the nub up until 14 weeks.

Ohhh ok ! Not sure sure on the nub and how it works just googled now and don't get it , just have to wait and see

It looks to me like baby has their back turned towards you in which case you wouldn’t be able to see a nub. Might be wrong though.

Oh I see what you mean with the baby turning slightly , actually never saw that until you pointed it out.
