I think I'm miscarrying? :-(

Hi everyone,

I think I'm miscarrying, and am booked in to have an early scan on Tuesday morning at my local hospital, but just seeking comfort/advice in the mean time (it seems like such a long wait)

We have been TTC and I was told it may be difficult for us as I likely have a thin womb lining (irregular, very light periods). I got a completely unexpected BFP on Monday and my husband and I were over the moon, but from Thursday I started losing the symptoms I had (sore breasts/night sweats), and then yesterday morning I had some pink spotting when I wiped, which was intermittent yesterday and then has been more constant today. It's still only pink though... I also have really bad period type cramps in my back.
I also noticed a lump in my urine yesterday which was pinkish... but there was no other blood that time. Could that have been 'it'?

I'm resigned to the fact it's a M/C and have not stopped crying since yesterday (I didn't realise I had so many tears to give).
Does anyone have a similar story? Does this mean I'll miscarry again next time?

From my dates I'm either 5.5 weeks or maybe a little over 6 depending on when I may have ovulated... last period 2nd April but previous cycle 35 days.

Sorry for the monster message x

I'm really sorry you're going through this, I really hope you have good news when you go to the hospital.

I mc at 5.5 weeks and it was awful. I didn't know it was possible to feel as bad as I did. There's nothing that can be done other than the grieve. It does get easier.

I was terrified it meant that I wouldn't be able to have children, would miscarry again etc. But four months later I was pregnant again. I now have a beautiful 2 year old and a 1 year old.

I don't know if this is what you want to hear, but when you mc you learn that it's happened to so many other women. Somehow you do move forward from it but when you're going through it you can't believe this is possibly true.

All the best for Tuesday xx

@coffeeandjuice thank you so much for replying. It has been a weird sort of 'comfort' to realise how common it is through this forum.

I'm so happy to hear your story. Congratulations on your two successful pregnancies! Am trying to remain positive and think 'at least I was able to conceive' but my face is like a tap! Confused

Trying not to get my hopes up for Tuesday, and terrified of the actual process itself, but will try to take each day as it comes x

Hey sorry to head your going through this, I think I am today also I'm 6+4 and had a scan at 5+4 to show pregancy and cyst which was bleeding so I had brown discharge all week but today it's gone bright red and not really stopping, I don't have pain just left hand pain so who knows, I'm waiting to hear back from nurse tomorrow, good luck for Tuesday, it's total crap x

@Sazzy312 I'm so sorry for you too :( is this your first pregnancy too?
You may be lucky - I have read a lot of positive stories regarding bleeding on its own, and not necessarily meaning m/c... just nothing positive when cramping is involved :( I've got everything crossed for you, and hope you hear back quickly tomorrow x

Hiya, I've had 3 mc before so I sort of think this is going the same way, I'll do a test in the morning and see what the nurse has to say, thanks for replying :) x
