Fatigue in second trimester?

Hi everyone! Wanted to ask....

I'm only 22 weeks pregnant, but in the last 3 days or so am absolutely knackered! I've got no energy to do anything at all. I was exhausted in the first trimester, and then a 16 weeks started feeling better. But now its just hit me again.

I went for a 3 mile walk today, but didnt think I should be as tired now as I am! I havent done anything else all day really.

Is second trimester fatigue normal? I was doing so well 😂

I think it can be a thing by the end of the day yes as don't forget your making a whole person in there, but maybe if you think your too tired you could get your iron levels checked? Xx

I've been so tired since 20 weeks, had felt quite energetic between 16-20 weeks but since then I'm exhausted. Currently 27+3 and just want to sleep! I have assumed it is just normal, but do have my 28 check up next week so they will check my iron levels as know this can be a symptom if low in iron.

I've been exactly the same the last few days! I was so tired in the first trimester but I've been feeling completely normal the past few weeks, and now by about 4/5pm I feel like I could just go to bed already! I'm 21 +2 x

@myfirsttimehere That makes me feel a little less concerned that you've been the same. It's just weird isnt it? I had 6 weeks of feeling like me and now its 8.30 and I'm knackered 😂😭

I'm 23 weeks, absolutely more exhausted in second trimester than the first?! I suspect the fact that I've got a toddler is knocking it out of me, but still the same rules don't apply to everyone, we are growing humans in there! A bit of exhaustion can be normal at any stage

I had the same thing. It was dismissed and I was anaemic. If you have ever been anaemic before ask your GP to check now and point out you have had it before. If you haven't you can try but will probably have to wait until 28 weeks.

I've been exhausted since conception, I'm 19w I was the same thought I'd got over it by 16w then its returned and today I've done a 5 mile walk and every joint in my body is feeling it Flowers I'm only 19w so no excuses but as previous have said, we are growing a little one

I've felt more tired in 2nd trimester than the 1st, but I have low iron.

I’ve been tired all the way through too, I’m almost 21 weeks and iron stores fine. I’ve not seen 10pm for months!!
