Are vibrating massaging tools safe for pregnancy?

I have awful back pain, neck pain etc. Is it safe to use while pregnant? I am 11 weeks tomorrow. I will obviously avoid using it on my stomach or anywhere near the front or close to the baby but lately my lower back and upper back have been aching. I'm assuming due to the body changes and my breasts have gone bigger which might contribute to the pain. If someone could advise me I'd be grateful thank you!

I can’t think of a single reason why it wouldn’t be safe. Many women use vibrators in pregnancy and that’s much nearer to the baby!

I was labouring whilst pregnant and was regularly using a 1500kg ride on vibrating roller at work and everything was fine! My doctor assuered me most of the things they say not to do during pregnancy (physical) isn't because of danger to the baby but danger to you. Though he did say not to do wakeboarding or bungee jumping!

Thanks ladies! I shall enjoy it, the back pain has been a nuisance.
