How to prepare for my first scan today

Hello,
I have my first private scan today. I am approx 9-10 weeks. I wondered how I need to prepare? Full bladder or not? Anything else? feeling so nervous but excited too! x

Full bladder yes and that’s all! It’ll be abdominal. I had one at 10 weeks after a hospital admission . Good luck and let us know how it goes ! X

Full bladder but not too full 😝

With my first pregnancy, I was told to drink 4-5 glasses of water and I did ( chugged it all at once ) , was dying to pee and when I went for my scan and was told my bladder was too full 🤣🤷‍♀️! So they asked me to go for a pee and the ultrasound was much better !

I just had my 12 week scan on Friday and again my letter with the scan date says 4-5 glasses of water . This time I drank the water over a period of time and I definitely still had a full bladder but not to the point where I felt uncomfortable and ultrasound went great !
