Private scan advice

Hi everyone, my partner and I are currently ttc dc2, and I'm aware with the current coronavirus situation women aren't allowed partners for medical scans at the moment.
Is this the same for private ones does anyone know, Babybond, Window to the Womb, etc? I'm hoping by the time I conceive and the scan comes along things will be relaxed, but who knows?

What has been everyone's experience with private scans right now?

I had a scan at window to the womb last week at 23 weeks. My husband missed the 20 week one due to the virus.
Window to the womb let him in with me. I rang them beforehand and verified it. All absolutely fine. Been there twice now and had a great experience.

@blvdbrokendreams thank you for sharing, that's great news! I understand the need for the NHS scans, but I would have been pretty gutted if he couldn't come for the private haha. Congrats on your pregnancy :) :)

I went to a window to the womb branch today with my DH. Plenty of other dads in there too 😊👍🏻

I’ve been to a window to the womb and it was very clear that partners were not allowed and some were turned away at the door. Make sure you check as this is varying dependent on branch.

It very much depends on the company, some are allowing partner and some are not. The NHS guidelines are likely to relax in the next few weeks with the new government guidelines however so fingers crossed by the time it comes to you needing a scan it will all be back to normal. Good luck! X
