Hi all. I am currently 5/6 weeks preggers. I had my DS in August 2018. Never had a single symptom with ds!! I know I know lucky me.

Omg this time I feel bloody awful. Absolutely knackered. Bloated and full of wind. Cant get comfortable in bed and when I do I have the weirdest dreams often nightmares! Also have a random cyst 'down there'. Feel like I'm breaking down.

Normal... not normal? Sad

Oh I feel you!

The only symptom I had with my first was severe sickness other than that I was fine!

But this one well I think I've had every symptom going! And like you I can't get comfy in bed and have been having such weird dreams!

Roll on the next 26 weeks is all I'll say 😂

Me too! I had DD in 2018 too and I remember feeling a bit sicky but nothing much. I'm 8 weeks now and I feel like I've been hit by a bus most days, still not started being sick but I've got absolutely no motivation or energy. Makes me think this time it's either a boy or... Twins 😬😂

BeMorePacific · 15/05/2020 19:46

I was convinced I was having twins because I feel so much worse this time around!
I’m not! I’m 15 weeks with 1 baby! x

sarahc336 · 15/05/2020 19:47

Yup this pregnancy is very different to my first, I'm a lot more gassy and bloated, not as sick thankfully but defo more moody, spotty and tired, it's strange how your body can react differently even though surely it's doing the same thing Confused but I think it's totally normal to feel differently x

HarrietM87 · 15/05/2020 19:49

I could have written your post - had DS in 2018, no symptoms and felt great. This time horrendous morning sickness. It’s a girl this time!

Hannah1990x · 15/05/2020 19:52

I'm the opposite! In 2018 with DD I was dying, sickness all the way through, headaches, pains, debilitating fatigue. Currently 19 weeks with baby 2 and feel fantastic, keep forgetting I'm pregnant! It's strange how two pregnancies can be so different.

HarrietM87 · 15/05/2020 19:59

The higher your hcg levels, the worse you feel. Girls in general have higher hcg than boys, so that’s a bit of an indication.

Popcat120 · 15/05/2020 20:21

I'm the opposite too, really feel for you.
I had a DS in September 2018, omg I felt horrendous from about 3 days before my period was due.
I was never actually sick, just felt nauseous, rising hot flushes, dizzy spells, off food, couldn't eat barely for feeling terrible.

I'm now 6 weeks with number 2, I'm having symptoms, but it's not where near as bad as last time (yet)!

Popcat120 · 15/05/2020 20:22

Also spotty, greasy hair, constipated, bloated, tiny bit of nausea, and so tired this time.
But it's all manageable!
I don't know how I got through last time, went to work every day feeling dog rough!
17 weeks of it!

I loved my pregnancy with my son (who is now 4). This time around my skin is spotty, I'm tired, irritable, morning sickness was awful. Maybe it's cos I'm older but 2nd preg is defo harder

Cactuslove · 15/05/2020 20:49

Oh so grateful for your replies! Logically I know every pregnancy is different... but I am resenting it a bit Haha also may muscles/ligaments keep popping it literally feels like a kick. My partner laughed his head off when I told him and reminded me our beanies the size of a sesame seed hahaha
