Has anyone had the pressary during induction if so how long did it take to work? I’m in a lot of pain with it it’s causing a lot of contractions not sure I can bare it anymore

I’m afraid I haven’t had this, but wanted to say that if you’re struggling you need to speak to someone regarding pain relief. Are you at home or in hospital? You don’t want to get too exhausted if this might take a long time

How often are the contractions coming? Are you at home or the hospital? It would be best to talk to a midwife.

Ask the midwife for codeine. They didn't offer it when I was in the same situation as you with my first and I really struggled. It is perfectly safe and frequently given to women in early labour. All my midwives this time can't understand why I wasn't given it last time.

In answer to your question, that time I was given the pessary late morning and baby was born half past midnight. This time I've had 2 X pessaries and nothings happened, waiting for the gel now.
