I'm 34 weeks on Monday.. Iv been having bh since 28 weeks and 4 days ago had pins which wrapped round and were different was also leaking so went to get checked.. midwife said waters havnt broke but if keeps leaking come back so went back two days later, leaking fluid, back pain, major pressure and having contractions which were picked up on the monitor but because they ease off and come back she said it's not Labour YET!! Got a scan and fluid is low end of normal. so basically think I'm just asking for reassurance or story's
Basically symptoms are
-4/5 contractions for an hour which are getting stronger.. then disappear for a few hours

  • major back ache
  • leaking fluid
  • being sick
  • pressure
And generally not feeling well?

Any advice, or stories x

Sounds really frustrating! If you feel like things are getting worse, or feel more certain about fluid leaking, than call them back for another assessment would be my advice.
The contraction pattern doesn’t sound like labour as such, in that it’s just coming and going. You can sometimes get this for days/weeks as false alarms, and the pressure and unwell ness can sometimes turn out to just be normal late pregnancy too. But if there’s any question of waters having broken, or more significant contractions, then you just need to keep being reassessed unfortunately.
Before 35 weeks if it does turn out to be early labour or waters broken there are medications to try to slow labour and prepare baby.
