Bad news at 12 week scan.....again

So for the second time my baby has no fetal heartbeat. Life is so cruel.

@MariposaPink I had spotting week 10 with my DS over a few days, had a scan a couple of days later and everything was fine. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm so sorry, its a heart breaking thing to go through, life really can be cruel sometimes.

OP I don’t even have the words!

I had a MC last year and It was just heartbreaking!

I don’t know the exact specifics but my stepdads daughter sadly went through exactly what you did - two times in a row there was no heartbeat at her 12 week scan. As far as I’m aware she then underwent treatment - hormone injections I believe - and she went on to carry two children after that!

I know this is likely of no comfort to right now but there can be a light amidst all this awfulness xx

I'm so very sorry OP. I remember the awful numb feeling when it happened to me, also at the 12 week scan. So sorry you have to go through it again.

Ps I went on to have 2 children so I really hope it works out for you.

I’ve been there OP & yes it’s utterly heartbreaking. It’s a grief that marks the soul. Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to be sad, there is no right or wrong way to deal with it. Dont be afraid to take the time you need initially to heal.
