So a couple of weeks ago I was given antibiotics for a week as a precaution for a possible uti. Nothing showed up in my urine but I was 23 weeks pregnant and dr said better to be safe than sorry.
Anyway, I started to feel better but on Monday at 26 weeks I started to have period type backache and belly ache. Saw the midwife yesterday who found protein in my urine, she has sent my sample off for testing and said if I get worse to contact the gp in case of kidney infection. Now, the pains are still there. It's like a period pain in my lower to middle back and also in my lower abdomen. I don't have a fever and it doesn't hurt to pee. I may have to wait until Tuesday for my results. I'm not sure if I should contact the gp tomorrow to be on safe side or to wait for my results. I also had 1 bout of diarrhea last night but nothing since. I do suffer with IBS and fibromyalgia as well so not sure if it's related to that. I don't want to end up in hospital by ringing tonight if I can help it :(
