Restless legs

Me again! I am now 25+4 and am struggling to sleep due to restless achy legs. They are fine through the day pretty much but then at night they drive me mad. Feel like lead weights and like I need to just get up and walk around. I've tried drinking more water, walking more, walking less, sleeping with pg pillow and without it. Anyone else experienced this, what was it and is there anything else I can do to help it. TIA x

This sounds absolutely ridiculous, but try putting a bar of soap at the end of your bed (under the covers) before you go to sleep, and keep it there overnight. It worked for me- although I couldn't tell you why.

Magnesium spray - works a treat! Just rub a bit on legs and wash off after 10 mins or so.

I found a hot water bottle really helped me

@sleepismysuperpower1 that does sound absolutely ridiculous you're right but I am willing to try anything for a decent sleep 🤣🙌🏽 thank you ladies @LASandOtto @Greenleaf21 I will give these a try.
So so many things people don't tell you before you're pregnant 😭

I've seen quite a few of these threads lately. I wonder if it's worse due to lack of exercise in lockdown?

BabyB19 · 14/05/2020 12:05

I definitely don't think that will be helping @OldEvilOwl however saying that I did my longest walk in months yesterday as I've got a new support band for my round ligament pain and last night was the worst I've had yet! I was sure it would help tire me out so I'd sleep better but it didn't 🤷🏽‍♀️
