So I'm a total POAS addict, ive experienced miscarriages, one where the lines didn't get darker and one where they then got lighter after getting darker

I'm completely terrified of another miscarriage and while I can see line progression on some tests, first response dont seem to be progressing as much? 🤦‍♀️

Haha you’re exactly the same as me!! I was a total POAS addict. I’d say your line progression looks perfect - it looks like mine did and I’m now 26 weeks and being kicked as I type 💙 Congratulations

EllieJai44 · 14/05/2020 08:15

@Melbs6 really? Did you feel like it was slow at the beginning? Its the first response tests thats are making me nervous!

Compare every other day line, you’ll notice a bigger difference. Looks like mine too xx

EllieJai44 · 14/05/2020 08:36

@Mummyspider27 I try but then I find myself opening the test packet and I have no patience 😂 thank you, that helps to know they look like others tests!

@Mummyspider27 hCG doubles every 2 days. If you look at your first response from 11dpo to 13dpo it’s definitely much darker. I know it’s easier said than done but try not to test every day. I sent myself crazy because one day was much lighter than the previous day but it just turned out that I was more hydrated so my urine was more dilute

Mummyspider27 · 14/05/2020 08:46

@EllieJai44 oh I tested everyday!! Just tried to line compare every other day!! It’s addictive isn’t it?! I an now addicted to looking at other peoples tests!! X

EllieJai44 · 14/05/2020 08:49

@Mummyspider27 definitely addictive! I sometimes wonder if there's a group like alcoholics anonymous 😂

I'm not due AF till tomorrow so must have implanted early, I just thought it would be so much darker by now! Lol

I reckon my pregnancy isn't going anywhere unfortunately. My lines appear to be the same, if not lighter. This is 14-17DPO (or possibly 13-16DPO).

It is very sad but I suppose it's a good thing we are getting positives in the first place.

I did this until about 6 weeks. Then had a horrible shock when they started getting lighter which turns out to be normal btw. Drove myself nuts. Your lines look fine.

See!! Amazing progression! Do you feel better for it? X

Eskdale2004 · 15/05/2020 11:38

That looks like great progression to me! My tests always take ages to get dark but they get there eventually. I’m 12 weeks tomorrow.

BuffaloCauliflower · 15/05/2020 11:42

It looks just like my First Response line progression (I’ve just gone back and looked at the picture!) and I’m now 14 weeks and baby is definitely in there. After a previous MC I was equally anxious and know there’s little I can say to calm you, but just try and relax as much as you can. Its doing what it’s doing and all looks good at the moment.

EllieJai44 · 15/05/2020 11:57

@Mummyspider27 slightly haha because of previous miscarriages I have a phone consultation with early pregnancy unit in about an hour

@Eskdale2004 @BuffaloCauliflower thank you! That makes me feel better! I'm so hoping for the best! 🤞

I’ve been there... 2 miscarriages and this is my IVF baby after 4 cycles. 🤞🏼 for you xxx
