Was wondering how much weight you lost after giving birth, I’ve currently put on a stone and a half and have 10 weeks to go!

How much weight did you lose just from giving birth?

In the first PG I gained a whopping 28kg lost 15kg one month after CS. I had a massive water retention and a 4.5kg baby. Another 4kg while breastfeeding. The rest was down after two back breaking years years in the gym. This time round 11+2 and I already gained 4kg (3kg immediately when I tested positive at 5 weeks) and I promised myself it would not happen again but I can't stop it. And I eat less crapHmm

I gained 3 stone when pg with ds. I lost about 1stone within a few weeks (baby, placenta, extra blood and fluid), another stone without trying (breastfeeding probably helped) within a couple of months and really struggled to get the last 1 off.

I'm 12 weeks pg with my second and have gained 1lb so far, hoping to gain 2 stone this time instead of 3 Shock

I gained at 25 weeks and 6 weeks after birth i was about 10lb heavier. I could kick myself now because i was too happy with myself and pigged as i breastfed for years thinking im burning ot all off. Im now fatter than when i was 40 weeks peegnant.

My advice is to eat sensibly and healthy now and later because its so depressing carrying this weight around.

What i meant is that i saw real weight increase at 25 weeks and after giving birth at 6 weeks check i was 10lb over my pre pregnancy weight.
