Has anyone had or considering a private birth I’m in the Kent area and just want to research all my options, I’m due in late December and concerned about the potential for COVID to still be around and a baby boom!

Lots of women are feeling like you and I think you are very wise to think about it now. You could start with talking to a few private midwives in your area & go from there. We all work in slightly different ways and it is fine to talk to a few to work out what you like /don’t like. Are you thinking of a homebirth or hospital? One of the lovely things if you have private care is that having chosen who you want you have all your appointments with that midwife and you really get to know each other . I absolutely love working outside the NHS now ( after almost 30 years!) because I can spend time with my clients

Thank you for your reply I will definitely look into a private midwife, it might be a better option for me as private hospitals are quite far. Thank you for your response
