Hey there,

I live on YouTube at the moment and I'm always on the lookout for interesting videos. Now that I'm 15 weeks pregnant, I'm OBSESSED with watching mummy vloggers and content from midwives etc. Nurse Zabe is one of my favourites as an example. I wanted to see if any of you guys had any YouTubers that you really enjoy watching?

Influencers are people who are given money to advertise products. Once you are a mum and have been for a while, you will realise they peddle rubbish from unknown brands that are always overpriced, poor quality and sometimes not signed off by the relevant bodies so they're damaging too. Please don't get carried away by "influencers". Often their children are beautifully dressed, never cry, sleep through, perfect weight etc. It's all one big lie. Please don't get carried away with them. All the best with your baby.

@turnthebiglightoff Not all influencers are paid to advertise products! Nurse Zabe is a great example of a straight up midwife that offers her advice and guidance on birth, breastfeeding etc in a non judgemental way. I work in PR and marketing, so I'm good at understanding the difference between someone that's being paid to say something - and they have to be upfront and say if they're being paid anyway. Thanks for your thoughts and concerns though. I appreciate that there are people out there that try to portray a perfect life. I guess I'm looking more for upfront, honest and information focused mums and midwives to give me a variety of perspectives.
