Empty sac

Hello, can anyone pleaseeee help me

I have had 2 confirmed pregnacy test. The first said 1/2 weeks. 5 days later I took another to prove to my children, this came back as 3+. As I have had very light bleeding I rang the docs. Got sent to the early pregnancy unit for a scan, this showed a sac but with no yolk sac or fetal pole. ? So yes this could be very early pregnancy, so they decided to do a blood test for hcg level, this came back at 22000 which is quite high and they would have expected to see something. That puts me around 6/7 weeks. I have another blood test Thursday and another scan on Tuesday. Has anyone had anything similar to this. I'm so desperate for a bit of hope. Thank you

Hi, I’ve just been through a similar situation. Went for an early scan at EPAU as I had some one sided pain. Thought I was 5 weeks, saw a sac on the scan measuring 4mm but nothing inside. Had bloods taken and were doubling nicely. Went back for a scan a week later and sac had grown to 17mm but still nothing inside. Bloods taken again and were over 25000, more than double from the week before. Went back another week later (awfully anxious week waiting!) and saw a sac, yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat measuring 6 weeks 1 day. A few days behind my dates compared to my lmp. Now 9 weeks and had a private scan last week showing everything was ok and baby had caught up with my dates.
It’s a really tough wait, one week seems like an eternity away but I just wanted to give you something to hope for. At 5 weeks everything is so teeny tiny the scans aren’t always accurate.

Hello, thank you for that, thats made me breath a little easier, its just the not knowing and the anxiety it causes. I'm so lucky to already have 3 children and a 4th would be the icing on the cake. Will keep you updated thank you

Hi I had an early scan with my sac measured at 5mm which mad me 4-5 weeks had bloods done slow rising hgc,went back a week later sac measured 11mm still empty,went back a week later measured 17mm still empty now we’ve been told to come back in 10 days,I’m so confused and I really don’t think it will be ok has anyone got any success stories just for abit of hope this is my fourth pregnancy my other we’re all fine and overdue

So wishing there was an outcome of this thread. Currently going through the same thing. Had a scan when I was 5 weeks 4 days (going off LMP) sac was 3mm and empty, went back a week later and sac was 7mm, still empty. I’m due back tomorrow and my mind is going into over time. Not bleeding, but hardly had any pregnancy signs at all. Other than positive tests
