Where are my boobs?

I was led to believe that for the first time in my life, I'd have a cleavage (one of the few perks of pregnancy). However, I'm now 35 weeks and they haven't got any bigger, or rounder, or fuller, or anything!

I've bought nursing bras (sports bra style) as I intend on breastfeeding if possible but other than using them to hold the breast pads in place to soak up any leakage, I don't even need them 🙈

Anyone else feeling cheated? 😂 I'm hanging on to the small chance that they might appear when my milk supply comes in after birth but can't say I'm confident! My poor boy is gonna starve at this rate (I know that's not how it works).

Im the same!! Boobs havent changed at all. Hoping mine also come in once the baby is here...which I can hopefully let you know about in the next week! xx

BellysGonnaGetYa · 12/05/2020 16:57

Ooooh, not long now for you, how exciting! All the best (and do keep me updated on the boob situation, I live in hope) lol x

Mine didn't change at all until my milk came in. Really love my nursing bra. I might look for something similar when I stop breastfeeding.

SerBrienneOfHouseTarth · 12/05/2020 17:07

Mine were the same in my last pregnancy and afterwards too, my milk never came in either. They haven't grown a millimetre this pregnancy and I'm currently 35 weeks. I'm fairly stacked though so not too disappointed, I'd be like Dolly Parton if they got much bigger!

MichelleOR84 · 12/05/2020 17:11

When your milk comes in they will grow . Mine barely grew in pregnancy. I’m a B cup normally and I have no idea what size I went up to but it looked like I had a boob job- huge, firm and perky breasts ! My skin was so tight it looked like it was going to split lol.

And then after a few months they went back to normal , even though I was still nursing , and now they have stretch marks and sag a teeny tiny bit . But I love them even more now because they fed my baby boy for 14 months 😊

xxxemzyxxx · 12/05/2020 19:33

Do you want some of mine? 😂 I was already an E before pregnancy and they started growing from week 7. They’ve got more stretch marks than my belly at the moment and it makes them very itchy!

Natalie654321 · 12/05/2020 19:45

Haha mine didn't really grow during pregnancy and then went huge when I started breastfeeding.

HoHoHolyCow · 12/05/2020 19:48

I have small boobs and they didn't grow at all in pregnancy. I was delighted when my milk came in, I couldn't stop looking at them Grin

I probably went up to about a 32 C. My supply was fine.

BellysGonnaGetYa · 12/05/2020 20:48

I've never been measured (they'd probably tell me I need a vest/crop top)! I wear a B cup but I think that's wishful thinking as they're gaping 🙈 I was hoping for at least a decent handful, even just temporarily 😂 x

Oh goodness have some of mine - 20w currently and not even DD fits me! I was a B pre pregnancy!! Please tell me they won't get any bigger when milk comes in later on!

quarantinevibes · 12/05/2020 21:22

My teeny boobs haven’t grown either. With breast feeding they did blow up but once they realised how much milk baby needs they deflated down to tiny things again. Honestly used to wonder if any milk was in there as they were almost flat lol I didn’t find it very comfortable feeding to be fair when they went down to nothing again. Especially at night laying side ways baby is shuffling head side to side like where the tity at

Hannah9176 · 12/05/2020 22:29

Mine never grew in pregnancy. They were like 2 rock solid grapefruits when my milk came in but I bottle fed and they disappeared within a day or 2. Word of warning - even teeny tiny shit tits can go floppy 💔

GrumpyHoonMain · 12/05/2020 22:32

My boobs didn’t change during pregnancy and then they grew 2 cupsizes within a week.

Charlottejade89 · 12/05/2020 22:32

Mine didnt grow on my last pregnancy at all, even when my milk came in they still looked the same size just like 2 boulders until my milk dried up. I'm 8w now with my 2nd and they've swollen abit but havent gone up a size or anything. I've grown to love my little boobs tho, at least they wont sag as they dont have far enough to drop lol

Spam88 · 12/05/2020 22:37

Yeah, don't get your hopes up for them getting bigger when you're breastfeeding either. And do prepare yourself for just how saggy tiny breasts can somehow go once you're all done.

As an aside and not relevant until you start wearing proper bras again: is a B cup your size using the boob or bust method?

NinaNeedsToGo · 12/05/2020 22:46

I wish mine did the same Hmm before BFP I was cup E and I can barely put any bra on now at 11 weeks.

Last time I started pregnancy with DD cup but during breastfeeding I wore G cup which was a bit too big but F cup was too small. I honestly hated it and returned to E cup after.

I'm sure you will enjoy a lovely cleavage after the birth.

JHKLHZHARH · 13/05/2020 09:10

When I got pregnant with DD1 I was a 32a (bee stings as my dad would say) when DD1 was born I went up to a 32c (I was so happy) I breastfed her for 18months and I never lost my c cup. When Got pregnant with DD2 was a 34c, I went up to a 36e when my milk came in. When I got pregnant with DD3 I was a 34d when my milk came in I went to a 34e. Currently 36 weeks pregnant with DD4 and I'm a 34e.

When your milk comes in they will go up. I promise!

HoHoHolyCow · 13/05/2020 18:36

Just to reassure you that sagging is not inevitable! My boobs look exactly the same now (age 42, 2 DC) than they did when I was 20. I'm also convinced they are too small to sag. I don't have any overhang at all!

Daisysandviolets · 13/05/2020 18:50

Completely agree with this, my boobs haven't changed at all yet! Hoping when my milk comes in they might?

Flitterwings · 13/05/2020 19:12

Mine don’t appear to have gotten bigger but are definitely heavier. I’m still wearing a 36b at 36 weeks pregnant. I breastfed my last baby and they didn’t seem much bigger then either :(

ShambalaHambala · 13/05/2020 19:14

It's not always a bad thing if they don't change that much. Mine were a C cup. Now one is an F after breastfeeding and the other is a DD. I hate them!

onetiredmummy13 · 13/05/2020 19:26

😂😂 I'm the same with my 2nd was also the same with my first but woke up when she was 5days old and it was as if I had a boob job 😂 didn't last long though as I didn't breastfeed

SomethingOnce · 13/05/2020 19:36

I’m usually a neat B or C-cup depending on BMI.

First pg, they got a little bigger during but when my milk came in... giant comedy boobs. Tbh, I wouldn’t want to be like that all the time - too heavy and they get in the way all the time.

Wallywobbles · 13/05/2020 19:56

I went from an A to an F- never really went again. Still a DD.

fretnot · 13/05/2020 20:47

I have tiny boobs and although they are fuller in pregnancy it’s probably only DH & me that notice the difference. After the first baby (nearly a year of glorious breastfeeding boobs there!) my milk supply seems to settle much more quickly and like a PP said, they disappear again to the point side-feeding is uncomfortable!

On the plus side, I have had no supply issues and I reckon the less time spent inflated the greater chance you’ll avoid post-baby sag (yes small boobs can sag - no overhang as such but a sort of emptying in the top half Sad).

I’m v envious of the people who manage to stay bigger!
