How accurate is the skull theory?

I've had a couple of people make guesses on the sex based on looking at my 12 week scan. I was wondering if anyone else predicted sex of baby based on skull theory and it came out correct?

Hi, I had “thebabygenderpros” guess my babies sex based on skull theory and they guessed correct! I did it for a bit of fun as I didn’t think it would be accurate though.

Probably 50% accurate.

I was skeptical about it but when I looked back at my 12 week scan pics for my first two pregnancies- DD has a classic ‘girl’ skull and DS a classic boy one. I’m pregnant with number 3 and the skull looks identical to DD, I’ll be finding out the gender in a few weeks so will be interested to see if it is a girl or not!!

Mine definitely fits the theory of a 'girl' skull and 3 scans now have confirmed it's a girl.
It could just be a coincidence but it was right for me.

Both my boys had classic girl shaped skulls so I'd say not very

Skull therory and nun test both said girl for my 12 week scan. I did it as a bit of light hearted fun. Scan confirmed it is a girl. But yet to give birth to be 100% certain.

I posted my 12 week scan on here and on multiple Facebook sites. Every single person who guessed based on skull theory guessed girl, but I am having a boy!!

Skull theory really isn’t accurate, and is probably right in about 50% of cases. I think nub theory is a lot more accurate though

Does anyone have any idea on my scan picture please? I tried reading up on both theories but am confused but find them really interesting.

@Ouchjuststoodonlego according to skull theory your baby has a classic girl skull - but your scan looks almost identical to mine (I’m having a boy) so I’ll guess boy 💙

Thank you. I find it all really interesting. I have tried comparing to dc's scan but couldn't work out what I should be looking for.
I was convinced I was having a boy last time so was a bit surprised when was handed dd. I have no idea this time though.

My 12 week scan was a classic boy skull. I was convinced from then that I’m having a little boy.... which was confirmed yesterday! The scan just looks like a baby boy!

I have my scan in a couple of weeks and am undecided whether to find out or not.
We didn't with 33rd and I loved the surprise but with dh not being able to go to scans this time, I'm wondering whether it might be nice for him to know.

Any other guesses would be great. I find skull and nub theory really interesting but an rubbish at it.

Can any one guess wat they fink baby is first picture is 13 week 3 days and second is 12 week 2 days
