Currently 4 +3, first ever pregnancy and found out over the weekend... I’m so sorry if I sound stupid...
Are these normal?-

  • period like cramps that are actually quite painful
  • still not feeling like this is real? - like I’m actually pregnant! It’s not sunk in.
  • back ache right at the bottom of my back, it hurts to get up, feel like I’ve ages 30 years
  • bloody knackered all the time
  • worrying every time I have a wee that when I wipe it will be red... or starting a toilet roll, worrying whether I can see a glint of red.
Thanks in advance xx

Yes its all normal. If you start thinking you need pain relief for the cramps then it's possible that something isn't right but cramping is normal, just stretching making room for the baby.
You might not feel like it's real until you have your baby!!

Definitely normal! I'm 20'weeks and still look at the toilet roll every time I wipe after having a wee!
Still don't believe it's real either and I have a bump! 😂

Oh how I can relate to the toilet roll checking! And I think lots of people have period like cramps, all normal.

@SkylinesTurnstiles I was the same, found out at 4 weeks and kept having cramps like I was about to come on any minute, I was scared every time I went to the toilet. But it was fine, just stretching pains. I'm 15 weeks now, still worry all the time though 🙄
