Hi, I'm 6 weeks pregnant and experiencing some bleeding on random days. It's only when I wipe and not going on the pad. Has anyone else had this before and everything been ok? It's not happening every day.

I haven’t, but just wanted to give you a bump. I know lots of women have discussed bleeding.
I would recommend you call the early pregnancy unit xx

I'd give the EPU a call and explain what is happening and that you are concerned. They may not be able to offer anything just yet but if it's still happening next week you can call back and you may get a reassurance scan x

My midwife reassured me that a small amount of bleeding like this is usually nothing to worry about, but for peace of mind I would call your midwife or the hospital providing your scans etc.

I did, and it wasn't good news unfortunately. It wasn't really blood, more pinky discharge to start with. I didn't know I was pregnant, so just thought it was a weird period.

Please, if you get any pain do not hesitate to go in. Contact your midwife if you have concerns.
