Hey I thought I'd move us into the pregnancy board purely because there's a lot of people trying and don't want to rub our success in.
How are you getting on. 4 more weeks till we find out what were having.

We've decided not to find out the sex, so surprise baby it will be.

How cute though. You got some names picked out?

@27andcounting Haha don’t worry - I do it all the time. Baby brain is real... I almost drank out of nail varnish remover instead of water bottle the other day!

Eek! That’s exciting; you have more self control than me ha! Are you feeling proper movements yet? I’ve had little flutters but nothing major yet.

Yea, we think we’ve got the name nailed but I need to stop saying it because I’m worried I’m gonna make myself hate it haha!

Yes getting more and more movements, still feel a bit muted because of my placenta I think but undeniably baby.

Awww I wouldn't worry about making yourself hate it, I think it's natural to refer to the baby by name if you've settled on one. Have you got a backup incase she arrives and you don't feel like she suits it?

My bump is really coming along now, I keep saying I feel fat now but remind myself it's baby.

Eek! I’m nearly 18 weeks and I feel something maybe once a day, some days nothing. How far along are you now and is it regular?

Yea we’ve got a few back ups!! Do you have some good ideas for both boy and girl?

I’ve struggled a bit with that... but got a little bump now!

That's good.

I'm 23 weeks now and I would say getting regular but definitely not able to find any pattern and I can still go Long periods with no movement.

Yeah we've picked 2 girl names and 1 boy.... so hard to pick boy names I like 🙈

@27andcounting - We found that! I was quite happy it was a girl considering it is so hard to find a boys name we agreed on ha!

When's your next scan?

Our 20 weeks is next Thursday - looking forward to seeing her wiggly around on the screen again. How did your 20 week scan go...? I'm a bit nervous as obviously they're looking in depth at everything.

We haven't bought anything. We got so much in way of hand me downs, we're waiting to see what clothes I get from that and baby shower before we buy anything. Have you?

Awww hope everything goes well. Mine went fine, no issues with baby apart from the location of my placenta. But they were so great at explaining everything to me as they were going through it and telling me everything they could see on the screen. I'm sure you'll be fine 🥰

Oh yes I remember you saying 🤣 I'm worried at the going rate I won't be able to have a baby shower. See what the August brings. We're pretty much sorted just got loads of little bits to buy. Oh and the mattresses for the next2me and cot. We've decorated and built the furniture now tho 😍

Yea - I thought that too but might be able to do like a virtual one and have a few people attend in person? Or have 2; one for close friends and another for close family? Oh that is so cute!! It must be so nice to have everything ready?

Yeah that might be a good solution to be fair. Will see what the coming months bring. We're currently still in local lockdown (as I'm from Leicester) which is annoying.

Feels so good to be almost there. Seeing as we're not finding out what were having were going to get some extra bits from the room after so we have some colour in there.
