Hi all

This is my first thread! Looking for advice/ support.

Got a bfp in an early test today at 10 dpo.

I have previously had a traumatic pregnancy that ended in termination ten years ago.

I struggle with anxiety and panic attacks. I've done a lot of therapy and my panic attacks have really been under control. Until today when I've had so so many.

I'm really scared of being ill and constantly having panic attacks. I just don't know what to do.

Oh dear OP! I suffer with the same and I can usually control it, as I know when they are coming but since I've been pregnant they just hit me without warning and it's bloody awful!
I do pregnancy yoga and meditation to help calm my mind and whilst it doesn't cure it, it does really help. When I went for my 12 week scan the doctor referred me to the antenatal mental health clinic. 8 weeks later and I've not heard a peep off them and they are supposed to be keeping an eye on me!
So I've taken matters into my own hands and trying to deal with it myself and my DH has been a massive help! The poor bloke can even tell before me when I'm about to have a melt down from the look on my face! News to me!!! 😂
If you have a supportive partner, use him as much as you can!
I hope you start to feel better soon 🥰🥰

@lockdownpregnancy aww thank you it's so good to know I'm not alone! I do meditation and yoga so need to keep that up.

Things are complicated with my partner which is not helping with the anxiety I think!!! Trying not to let it ravel out of control.

Oh that's such a shame things aren't good with your OH 😢
Perhaps a close friend or family you can lean on? I know we can't see anyone at the minute but FaceTime is a wonderful thing!
Adult colouring books are great too, puzzles, jigsaws etc. Just something to keep your mind active and calm.
Hope you feel better soon 🥰🥰
