Car seat recommendations

Hi ladies,

I'm looking to buy a reasonably priced car seat but don't know where to start.

I don't have a car so it won't be used regularly and I won't be fixing it to the pram or anything so don't want to spend a fortune.

Any suggestions of good value, safe brands to look at?

The Joie Juva gets good reviews for the price point, it's £40 from Argos

Definitely have a look at Joie. Our Every Stage was about £140. It rear faces to 18kg and can be used right up until a child is out of car seats. My parents and PIL have the Joie Tilt which was about £60 and can be used up until 4 years.
