Second baby bump, bigger?

I’m now 25 weeks with baby number two and I have what I feel is a massive bump compared to my first pregnancy, I was comparing photos tonight and I now look similar to how I was at 30ish weeks with my first baby. I did end that pregnancy absolutely massive due to swelling and preeclampsia so now I’m worried that I will be even bigger and more uncomfortable at the end of this pregnancy. Anyone feeling similar or been through this before? I’m hoping this sudden growth slows down from here on but fear all the treats Iv been eating during lockdown as ruined my chances!
I also started this pregnancy off at least a stone heavier than first pregnancy stArted so that hasn’t helped either!

Yes, my bump is probably atleast double the size of my bump with my first. So are my thighs and back/bum. I've put on about 3 stone in this pregnancy I'm 36 weeks now. I started off a size up than I did last time though. I think it's probably common most people carry bigger with their second.

I'm a FTM so not personal experience but my sister and friends have all had bigger bumps in second pregnancy and their bumps appeared sooner too.

I'm pregnant with DC 3 and even bigger than number 2 even though I started off 2 dress sizes smaller. I believe your body knows what it is doing second or third time around and you 'pop out' quicker currently 15 weeks and look like I did around 22 weeks with DC1.

Thanks for your replies, I glad to hear it not just me, I would be delighted @SquidgyPeach if I was 3 stone up at your stage- I’d say I’m near that already! I put on 5 stone in first pregnancy a lot in final 6 weeks due to swelling so I’m dreading that in the height of summer this time!
