Is it normal to throw up at 17 weeks?

I’m 17+3 and I’m still throwing up, only in the evenings and it’s not every night and I don’t feel nauseous or anything but as soon as I go to brush my teeth I’ll throw up my entire dinner it doesn’t matter how long after I eat this is it just seems to trigger it and I don’t know if this is normal? I didn’t have sickness early on, I was sick a handful of times around the 9 week mark but this has started happened fairly frequently in the last 2-3 weeks far worse than what I experienced in the first trimester.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My sickness was worse up to about week 11 then it reduced quite a bit but I was still being randomly sick once or twice a week until around 20 weeks (there was no pattern to it....sometimes it was the morning, sometimes at night).
I'm 26 weeks now and hoping it's finally gone.
My sister had it all the way through her pregnancy.

Yeah I get this at least 2 or 3 times a week, usually if I eat too much or eat something that I don't "want" if that makes sense. As far as the midwife said it's totally normal just really crappy to have to deal with!

I was like you in my first pregnancy, OP. I'd think I'd got through the day only to throw up in the evenings. Thankfully it tailed off at about 18 weeks and I was fine by 20 weeks.

I threw up week 7-37, mostly in the evenings. Had crippling nausea on and off all day then threw up at night. Totally normal according to my consultant.

A friend of mine always gets sickness all the way through, it literally stops in the delivery suite Confused

I was sick with DD until 20 weeks. It’s horrible, you have my sympathy! Hopefully it stops soon

I'm 38 weeks and have been sick all the way through - all the way.

I threw up every day I was pregnant with my daughter until the day she was born. Didn't throw up once with either of my boys. So weird but I wouldn't worry - some pregnancies are just puky!

I threw up when I brushed my teeth AND if I coughed bad . It was a pregnancy gag reflex thing . It goes away after pregnancy but it definitely got better after 16 weeks for me (but never 100%).

I did all the way through even on medication. Some of us are just lucky.
I’m 5 weeks with my second and it has already started.
