So what do you do about hair down there during pregnancy and lockdown?

I usually shave but had considered a wax when I could no longer reach... I’m now at that stage but obvs can’t go for a wax due to this lockdown.

I feel really disgusting and ungroomed particularly as the weather has been lovely and being in my bikini, uncomfy due to being so big anyway but can’t sit cross legged etc.

And no I’m not asking my hubby to do it, LOL

I managed to do it, sitting on a towel on the bathroom floor with one of those make up mirrors and my electric razor if that makes sense? As I didn't have to bend down to see it. Not perfect but better than it was!

Hubs does mine, but I've seen recommendations of using a mirror to help

So far I've been ok but only 19 weeks. I waxed my legs, underarms and bikini line and used an electric razor for the rest but i think I will go down the mirror path in a few weeks when it will be uncomfortable to bend. 😅

I'm going for trimming rather than removal for now. Got a bikini trimmer online which is easy to use without seeing!

35 weeks pregnant and had to ask to use the OH’s beard trimmer on a short setting.

I hear shaving rash and stitches don’t go well together and I’m not willing to take the risk!

I'm 29 weeks and I can just about still shave down there but it's getting more difficult by the week.

Debating whether to get an electric shaver and do the best I can with it? Either way it needs to be done!

38wks here. Literally just dealt with this 😆 I used Nair hair removal cream. And a swivel mirror. It was tricky and it’s slightly lopsided from the front!! But job done ✅ am hoping that I won’t need to do it again!!

I’ve not been able to see down there for a few weeks now but I’ve still managed to shave by touch alone. Lots of shaving foam and taking it easy 👍🏻

I do get rid of it all though so doesn’t matter that I can’t shape it or anything.

Oh gosh, I deffo leave it natural! Can't be arsed with any of that.

I was due to have my pre-labour wax this week but obviously not due to lockdown! I can't see a thing to do it myself plus at almost 38 weeks my bits have gone all fat and puffy (haha sorry TMI) I'd be scared I'd do something irrepairable! It'll be ok for labour I guess just telling myself I'm sure the midwives have seen worse over the years!though assume I can't get waxed again until my 6 week pp check up - I'll look like Chewbacca by then! :(

Beard/bikini trimmer and jammed a shaving mirror in the basin unit 3rd drawer aimed at the chuff whilst hovering over the loo, leg on the bath. 38 weeks pregnant. No way I'd shave or wax before the main event and risk a rash. However I'm sure midwives have seen a hairy muff before so not too worried.

I just kept it trimmed, too much effort!!

Omg thank you everyone, this is so useful. I hadn’t even thought of shaving rash, I defo want to avoid this. Might try some removal cream, and then a trimmer! Something to add to my lockdown list of things to do haha

I just let mine grow but at 36 weeks it was feeling so gross, itchy and sweaty so I attempted to shave it . I did a pretty horrible job and it was patchy . Whatever lol

I actually gave birth a week later and luckily nobody but me care what I look like down there . And to be fair , I don’t actually care what I look like, I just like to feel clean down there .
