Stitch pain at 20weeks

I have had 2 separate occasions of really bad stitch in my bump this week, like I have literally bent double to walk.....actually stood at 90 degree angle to move, like a frail old lady! It stays for at least a couple of hours.

Should I be worried? Has anyone else experience this?

I had this and it was a uti . Have you had a test recently ? I had it at 20 weeks and 23 weeks, both times cultures came back as positive for infection despite a negative dip test at the GP. Equally the dr said it’ll be a mixture of stretching too - round ligament pain. But if in doubt always calls your PAU xx

Look up round ligament pain and see if that is what you're experiencing.
I get it all the time and it really hurts but is perfectly normal.
Feels just like a stitch or a trapped bubble.

I would call your midwife to check. They can ask more medical questions and if they do suspect a UTI they can advise on getting tested. Hopefully it's just round ligament pains.

Do double check just to be safe but I get this when I've been sitting for a long time and when I go to get up I end up at a 90 degree angle as my stomach muscles have gone into spasm.
I would say though, that mine o my last a few minutes before I can stand up straight
