Painful worries

Hi all,
I am 6 weeks pregnant and I had an implantation bleed last week with some mild cramping.
Today I've had some more spotting that started being a dark brown and has now started to go more red with some period cramps that are far more noticeable than last week. I rang my local midwife number and she told me it was old blood and the cramping was ligament pain. She also said to ring back if it gets any worse or if the bleeding becomes worse/clots appear.
My pain hasn't got any worse and my spotting is still a pinkish red but I'm just worrying as it's my first pregnancy :(
What would you do if you were in my shoes?

It does sound like implantation bleeding, but if it was me I'd turn up at A&E and demand a scan as I was totally paranoid until I got to 12 weeks!
I went in to A&E at 7 weeks as I was in agony and thought I may have an ectopic pregnancy and the EPU Ward gave me a scan the next day. All good thankfully!

I had a big bleed in the toilet this morning and still have my cramping and I'm being referred to the EPU near me cause it's not right. I hope everything is okay, please keep your fingers crossed for me xx
