My son has a middle name(which he hates). Would it be weird if I gave my new baby the first name that is my sons middle name?

Not at all.

I know one family of 5 boys where each has the previous son's middle name as his own first name!

I don't think it would be weird at all!

There are only a few boys names I liked/like and used them with my two boys, I am pregnant and if it's a boy I will more than likely use my youngest sons middle name.

No, I wouldn't find that weird. Isn't Prince George's middle name Louis then his brother is called that too?

The only reservation I'd have is why does your son hate his middle name so much? Does that not put you off?

My first name is my older sister's middle name :)

I like the fact that we have that connection. I reckon it must have been my mum's first choice with her, but her ex didn't like it enough, whereas my dad did!

I say go for it.

Ah OK so it's not even that unusual!
I don't know why my son doesn't like it. The name is Oliver.

When i had my second son i was sad i used the name william as my first sons middle name as i would have used as my 2nds first name so now im pregnant again with my 3rd boy i really dont know what to do as ive now used 4 names that i love for their first and middle names and im running out of ideas lol

@prettylittlelady don't know if you saw the name is Oliver so I don't know why ds1 hates it so much!! He doesn't like my other suggestions for names for this baby anyway, he's got his own idea what to call him but I don't like his suggestion.
I think I'm going to go with it and give baby ds1 middle name.....

By the way i love the name oliver so that is one name im seriously considering, only reason im unsure is a friend had stillborn 10yrs ago n called him oliver n i worry it would be painful for her.
