Braxton Hicks

Hi guys, so I've been having contractions/braxton hicks for the past couple of days, last night i was having them every 6ish minutes and the pain was mostly my back, everywhere I've looked it says that that's what latent labour is, I'm 32 weeks so not good! I rang my hospital maternity assessment centre as it was too early to ring my midwife, the midwife on the phone said I was having braxton hicks as the pains stopped after a few hours. Bearing in mind I've been loosing my mucus plug for at least 2 weeks now and I rang the other day because I had a bloody show. Now I got told that braxton hicks shouldn't cause you pain? I could barely move and they weren't going with a change of position. Am I being silly or have the midwife just ignored everything I've said? Surely it's something to be concerned about when I'm only 32 weeks?

I would phone again for a second opinion and tell them that you are very concerned. I think every 6 minutes is a lot ? I’m sorry I don’t have experience of this myself but if I was in your position I would phone back. I would have thought they would ask you to come in to get checked out at least? Hopefully you can speak with another midwife
