Hi, I'm new here :) I'm 5+1 weeks pregnant with my first. I found out on week 4+3. It started with mild cramping on and off all day for 3 days with sore breasts. For the last 48 hours however, I've had nothing. My breasts aren't sore, no cramps but feeling a little more tired than usual I guess. I don't 'feel' pregnant though the bloat is still there. As this is my first time, I'm not sure what to expect. I've self referred myself to the maternity unit at a local hospital as recommended by my doctor but haven't heard back! That was 2 days ago. Has anyone else had this in early pregnancy? Should I worry or do I need to ride this out? Confused

I had a very similar experience - some initial cramping and then nothing much til about week 7. I think it’s very normal for symptoms to come and go, especially this early.

You can always speak to a midwife if you’re worried, but it sounds very normal to me!

My symptoms came and went for about 18 weeks. Then it was just constant :) Now im 40 weeks xx

Don’t worry honestly mine have come and gone the whole time. 11 weeks now.

I seem to remember mine came and went until around week 7 or 8. I come from a long line of women with pronounced nausea (not HG thank goodness but no picnic either). I'm six weeks tomorrow and felt absolutely awful yesterday and for most of today but am currently feeling pretty much OK.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences, I do feel more positive already! I was embracing the symptoms for the joy of what they meant that when they stopped, I panicked. Thank you 🥰

Honestly, on the days you feel good eat well and enjoy it.

In those early weeks I had symptoms come and go! It's such a worry but it's normal. Some days my boobs would be sore then the next back to normal, I was convinced something was going to happen! I remember I kept a diary of my symptoms so when it happened again I could look back and think , well nothing bad happened that time and helped me realise I would probably be fine!

Dont worry about it at all at the start its completely normal for them to come and go I had the same up until 12 weeks

Apparently it's normal to come and go, for me personally when it's happened I've always had MC. I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just telling you because I used to write similar posts to yours and scour the Internet for situations like what I was going through. Hope yours is all ok though x

It’s normal for it to come and go, at that stage I don’t think I had any symptoms, tired began a little bit afterwards and I was sick until week 9. Now at 17 weeks it’s mu I the same, some great days some days which have a lot of symptoms.
