Please tell me this is a evap line

Hi! I have a 2 month old DD who is our first. I have been on the pill very reliably (12:15pm every day without fail) since 3 weeks after birth just to make sure I was covered.
Don’t get me wrong we would love another child but we weren’t planning on trying until at least October! So if this is true it will be a bit of a shock! Happy though nonetheless.

I have no symptoms, which I did with DD. I had bad morning sickness. The only reason I took a test that was lying around in the back of the cupboard was because of some bleeding. I had just finished what me and HV believed to be my first period (even though I am EBF, grrrr lol) and then 3 or 4 days later I had a spot of bleeding which I thought oh? Implantation bleeding?? Which could possibly make sense after a ‘spontaneous kitchen session’ a week or so beforehand... (I wasn’t bleeding for the record lol as it was very on and off! So could have been ovulating?)
not due my period yet but I might not even know for sure then either because it might not even be regular yet! Who knows... might need to go to Tesco to get another test though....

OP it is possible, I got a bfp when DC2 was 8 weeks old.

Definitely get another test! I didn’t find those ones great and opted for a clear blue digital. No guessing then!

I think it could be dye run as it looks flooded, but equally there's definitely a line there. My periods came back straight away with breastfeeding too and I got pregnant 8 months later (cycles weren't regular).
I assume if breastfeeding you're on the mini pill which can cause some spotting and bleeding. I think you def need another test!

It's coloured so wouldn't say Evaps but could be dye run if you think you didn't take it properly? I'd take another to be sure? Shouldn't have any left I think it gets lower throughout pregnancy I did a test around 2 months pp to double check and was as white as could be

Did you pee directly onto the strip OP? You should wee into a cup and use the test that way or they end up flooded.

Well there's colour in it so it's not an evap. I don't think you're meant to pee directly on those strips though as they get flooded.
You'll have to do another test.

I think you flooded it and the dye ran.

Send DP to anywhere which is still open! Tesco Express?? Big petrol station? Otherwise you're going to be worrying over what could turn out to be nothing

So I ordered some tests from amazon yesterday and they’ve just arrived. I did a test and it was negative! Phew! I swear I can see the faintest of lines but almost certain my eyes are playing tricks on me lol. I will do another tomorrow morning with first wee just to double check. I guess it was a dye run!!

I think it was because you urinated directly onto the test OP, you're not supposed to get it wet above the max line.

@RyanStartedTheFire yes absolutely, that’s probably what it was. I was sure I didn’t get it above the max line but I must have done.
