Not sure if I should phone my midwife or just see what happens. I’m currently 21 weeks pregnant and my 1 and a half year old daughter has just kicked me quite hard twice in the stomach. I’ve felt him moving around since then and haven’t had any bleeding just really sore and painful where she did it. I also worry because I have an anterior placenta so worry about knocks to my stomach as it is so just wondering if anyone has any advice on this.

@Rachchar88 - I would call the midwife. It would give you peace of mind for sure, but also reassurance is good in cases like this. It’s likely ok (our bodies are super strong & protective of babies inside), but maybe better to be safe than sorry?

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I’ve rang and been told I need to go in so they can have a listen in and make sure everything is ok
