So at my 12 week scan baby was on 50 centile line. then at 20 week scan baby was still at the same. i have just had my first plot on the chart and now baby is measuring on the 7 centile line?midwife didn't say anything and didn't seem concerned. i have never had that midwife before and she didn't look at my scan paperwork to see what the baby was on before? is that normal?

Did she put a plot on the chart on because measuring your belly?
If that is the case, just know bump measurements are so inaccurate. Don't even understand why they are doing them.

The bump measurement is a guide, as long as your baby tracks on that line throughout the pregnancy then that’s absolutely fine. A scan is actually measuring your baby, the bump measurement is measuring your uterus and it’s contents if that makes sense😊 keeping in mind both a scan and the bump measurement can be hideously inaccurate, if the midwife isn’t worried then you don’t need to either

Is that how they measure the baby, by measuring the bump? I have an appt tomorrow and it says measure baby but i didnt understand how they'd do it without a scan.
